I know what you mean about street photograpy, it makes me very uncomfortable. I rarely have people in my pictures. I’ve been criticised for this as was Ansell Adams who replied ..”of course there are people in my pictures, there’s me and the people looking them”. 😉
Growing up in New York I spent some quality time on piers but only to fish. You would find some good street images there, with real people as opposed to tourists.

Very nice Adrian.
Thanks Chillbrook – I’m still not entirely comfortable with street photography, but feedback is good so I’ll persevere.

Is being psychoanalyzed the same thing as being criticised, Chillbrook? 🙂 I catch my share of grief for the same….
Well done, Adrian…keep it up.
Thanks Scott
wishing to be there..
Its an interesting place top spend a couple of hours – but not much more!
Nice set. I especially like the lost shoe.
Thanks KUM

You wouldn’t catch much from Weston’s pier – there isn’t any water under it most of the time! Just mud.
Then I would have a crumpet and tea. With Pipa.
Ice cream, donuts, fish and chips and other healthy choices – but no crumpet! And no Pipa. 😉
Fish and chips every time for me. AND Pipa.
Wow, amazing black and white photography work here. Your Grand Pier shot looks almost HDR-ish.
Thanks Henry
