David Hall June 9, 2014 Excellent composition Adrian. Hope the pilot of the plane, bottom row, middle, is not the ‘Leader’ as he is not setting a very good example 🙂 Reply
adrianpym June 9, 2014 Thanks David, I thought that plane was off message as well. Perhaps that is the rebel of the pack! Reply
www.christopherfidoephotography.co.nz June 10, 2014 Last time I saw the Red Arrows was at Farnborough in the 60’s I cannot remember what they were flying then, maybe Hawker Hunters? Reply
adrianpym June 10, 2014 Thanks Christopher. No idea what type of planes they use but the display was very good. Reply
LensScaper June 10, 2014 Well shot, Adrian. They fly over our house every year – we live 3miles from Silverstone and they perform a display for the F1 crowd. Never yet got a satisfactory image, tree cover means you never quite know where they are coming from next! Reply
adrianpym June 12, 2014 Thanks Andy. The benefit of an airfield is the expansive, tree-less view. They do appear from nowhere and very quietly until you are engine side. Reply
