Do know it’s just like a groin that I have a picture of but that’s at Sea Palling, further round the coast.
On my screen there appears to be a slight halo around the end marker. 😉

If there was something shiny on the marker it might be some glare, but there isn’t any. It’s a calm day so there’s no salt in the air (presumably). Unless there’s some light pumping into the lens from that post top in the middle ground. I love a mystery.

I have the same halo on my screen. It is on the original image but is enhanced by the mono conversion! Oh well at least it’s a talking point.
