A wonderful shot!
Thanks Lois
Hi Adrian nice picture as it is. This has real potential to be a great landscape shot. Have you thought about a mean and moody look by making it a lot darker generally, darkening the edges, and more local contrast in the hills. Darkening the F/Ground in front of the rocks would help give it depth. Just my fourpence worth. Thanks for sharing. Andy
Thanks Andy – I need to check the horizon line and will have a go at making it more mean and moody.
Thanks Andy – I have posted an improved version – what do you think?
Hi Adrian this gives me a much better sense of Scotland as I know it – thanks for being open to suggestions. Andy
You got stones, pym.
I rock?
you rock.
Nice brooding shot so typical of how I remember Scotland.
Thanks Lynne
A great landscape mate…is the horizon line straight 🙂
You might have a point, touche my friend! I’ll have to check and repost later.

Stone beautiful…. 🙂
I agree; the revision is much stronger.
A much stronger image that gives a better emphasis to the foreground and tones throughout the image.
Thanks JD
