As one of your many blog admirers, I’ve nominated you for the “One Lovely Blog” award. Visit me at http://onestreetshy.com for details. Acceptance involves a bit of work, but please know you’re appreciated for your thoughts and creativity. Have a wonderful day!
Your B&W photos are stunning! I know it’s due to your skill, but I do wonder what software and/or process you use in post. Esp for the clouds, they are always so dramatic!
Thank you Jeremy. I use photoshop and Nik Silver Efex Pro 2 to convert colour raw files to mono. The later allows greater control over the drama of the skies. Of course there has to be some structure and drama present first to allow the software to enhance it, so I like to think that there is still some skill in seeing and composing composing the shot; something that software cannot do for you.
