This was taken in the village of Clun in Shropshire near the Welsh border.

This is the first time I have used NIK Silver Efex Pro 2 (Demo version) and can instantly see the attraction.   The conversion isn’t perfect as there are some blemishes on the original shot that weren’t as noticeable on the colour version.

Thanks  to Helen ( and Chillbrook ( for recomending this software.

I like the angle/perspective you chose for this shot Adrian. The tone work is lovely. I’ve been resistant to getting SilverFx Pro and only because I’m wanting to get away from over processing my pictures but I can see the attraction to it. I may just have to give it a go. If I do anything I may just get the NIK software suite and see how it goes.

The trial or demo version is worth a look – I have a few days left to play around before committing to a purchase.

I rarely even consider doing B&W landscapes but yours have inspired me to give it a try. You have some great shots. Thanks for sharing.
